I have been playing the violin for 22 years. I spend most of my time playing classical music but also play American and Irish fiddle, free jazz and improvise with singer songwriters. I have played for yoga classes, childrens programs at museums and recently went on tour with a Bollywood singer. I love playing with different groups of people and playing different stlyes of music.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in music performance from DePaul University in 2008 and played in professional orchestras and chamber music groups for the 10 years I was in Chicago. I moved to New York in August 2013 to continue expanding as a musician in teaching and performance.

I teach using aspects from both traditional and Suzuki methods. I set up an environment that is both nurturing and challenging and help my students feel comfortable making mistakes, as this part of learning how to play any instrument. I teach my students how to read music and also how to listen and play by ear.
